ACS GOAL
ACS aims to go above and beyond to promote successful outcomes for individuals and families. We empower children and adults to cope with life’s challenges, and support families by equipping them with the skills and resources needed to independently address difficulties that arise in raising children, teenagers, and adults.
ACS MISSION
Our mission is to provide professional services that address emotional and behavioral needs; to increase healthy lifestyles and coping skills in various settings; and to lead and advocate for improved mental health policies and initiatives. We are committed to creating a supportive, student-centered environment characterized by academic excellence—encouraging students to grow into leaders prepared to serve in a complex, diverse, and global society.
WHAT WE DO
Anchor Community Services (ACS) is a licensed state agency providing behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and adults in Baton Rouge, Ascension, East Texas, and surrounding parishes.
In addition to our clinical services, ACS is expanding its impact through community outreach initiatives, with an emphasis on building strategic partnerships and fostering collective impact. We also offer mentorship opportunities, internships/externships, and consulting services to support the growth of future professionals and strengthen community-based support systems.
